Raspberry-Laced Vanilla Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 120g melted butter oder margarine
- 100g sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 45ml mlik
- 160g all-purpose flour (type 504)
- Raspberry jam
- Raspberries
Insturctions:
- Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl
- Mix-in the ingredients in order (eggs to milk)
- Let the mixture cool a bit
- Now pour-in the flour little by little while stirring
- Spread a little butter over inside the baking mold
- Pour the mixture into a baking mold
- Pre-heat the oven to 170°C, bake for 30-45 min
- Let the cake cool for 30 min
- Cut the cake horizontally to make 3 layers
- Spread raspberry jam in between the cake layers
- Frost the cake surfaces with whipped cream
- Decorate the cake with a few raspberries
